The Denton Police Officers Association is teaming up with the Denton Fire Fighter's Association and Texas Red Hot Radio to increase awareness of suicide among first responders while raising funds for the Denton County Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team.
On Sunday, September 16, 2018, the Denton Police Officers Association, Denton Fire Fighter's Association Local 1291, and Texas Red Hot Radio will team up to host the inaugural First Responders Suffer Too (FRST) Benefit Event at the Denton County Fairgrounds. Make plans to enjoy some great Texas Country music, concessions, silent auctions, vendor booths, and fun for the kids from 2 to 7 pm, all while supporting a good cause. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Denton County Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team to support their mission of providing caring support of family members affected by the loss of a loved one to suicide.
If you are a vendor or you are looking to support the event through a donation, please contact the Event Coordinator, Jennifer Todd at Jennifer.Todd@dentonpoa.org.
